Fitness Certifications and Workshops

We host nationally-recognized fitness certifications and continuing education workshops each semester for both aspiring and experienced group fitness instructors and personal trainers.

These events are open to the public. All events are held at the USA Student Recreation Center at 51 Jaguar Blvd. We are #12 on the campus map

Spinning® Instructor Certification

Date/Time: Saturday, October 5, 2024, 9am-6pm

Description: This comprehensive, blended-learning course will give you all the hands-on tools you need to become a certified Spinning® instructor and lead your own classes. Certification is achieved after completing the live 9-hour training day and passing the online assessment within 30 days of the training day. Use code SpinOR-Schools for a $55 discount.

Spinning® CEU Course: Music, Movement and Motivation

Date/Time: Sunday, October 6, 2024, 9-11am

Spinning® CEU Course: Strength, Hills and Power

Date/Time: Sunday, October 6, 2024, 11:30am-1:30pm

Description: As a Spinning Instructor, you're faced with the challenge of creating Spinning rides that produce real fitness benefits for your class participants. If you're like most instructors, your favorite profiles to deliver those results include hills and the Strength Energy Zone™. You know that climbing hills is a great way to build intensity, work large leg muscles and simulate the experience of a real cycling ride. In this workshop, we'll take your knowledge of hill climbs to another level.
